Jaden Edgecombe
Class Twenty-Four
“Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord rather than for men.”
Jaden wanted to join Progressive Black Men, Incorporated because he wanted to join a brotherhood of likeminded individuals and improve upon the community. He grew up with 5 siblings, so when Jaden came to UF, he wanted to put himself in a supportive environment where he could grow both as a student and as a person. Jaden felt aligned with the pillars and beliefs of Progressive Black Men, and as a member now, he has completed service opportunities that have not only benefited students at the University of Florida but the outer Gainesville community as well.
