Aiming to develop his leadership skills, Michael joined Progressive Black Men, Incorporated to bolster the imagery and presence of black men on campus, while also connecting with a community of like-minded, driven individuals that give back to the community.

Major: Anthropology

Graduation Year: 2011

Michael has a wide range of hobbies in which he partakes, including medicine, digital art, fitness, and social issues. Michael also has four total degrees which consist of a Bachelor's in Anthropology, a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences, a Doctorate in Medicine, and a Master of Business Administration in Multi-Sector Health Management.

Michael is currently beginning a residency in neurology at Larkin Community Hospital Palm Springs Campus, where he plans to manage his own neurology practice as well as continue to play an active role in the community.

Michael has participated in many positions in Progressive Black Men, Incorporated. such as:

  • Webmaster

  • Historian

  • Press and Publicity Chair

During his time at the University of Florida, Michael also took part in:

  • Black Male Development Initiative Founder and Board Member
